D A Cant Ltd is a long established successful Civil Engineer & Surfacing company which has worked for a huge number of clients over the last 35 years.

Our Business is built on an excellent reputation gained over the years for successfully completing hundreds of contracts both on time and to a high standard.

We directly employ over 60 people.

We own 15 excavators both tracked and wheeled ranging from 18t down to 1.50t and an equivalent number of dumpers from 9t – 3t.

We have a 40t low loader which transports our two road pavers and rollers.

We are a friendly and approachable company and are happy to give advice and discuss any aspect of the groundworks or surfacing process.

We operate from offices to the north of Colchester, Essex on the A12 corridor and carry out work in Essex, Suffolk, Hertfordshire and East London.

All our plant operatives have CPCS qualifications for the machines they operate and if they have not already obtained their Blue cards are working on an NVQ to achieve this.

Considerable time & resources are employed to constantly work and improve on all aspects of Heath & Safety and we strongly promote & reinforce the importance and our commitment to this by training, tool box talks and monitoring of all our employees qualifications and needs.
