Here are a selection of contracts that we have completed or are currently working on.

Contract:-  The Hollies- Crescent Road, Warley

Client:- Stonebond

Date:-  March 2017- July 2018

Set in a desirable location, this development comprises of 10no. 1 and 2 bedroom executive flats. Our works to this project include: reinforced concrete ground beams with anti- heave protection to piled foundations, removal of up to 2m of made ground across the site, porous asphalt car park and road and construction of a sunken rear terrace with retaining walls.

Contract:-  Kingswood Heath, Severalls

Client:- Bloor Homes

Date:-  August 2016- Ongoing 

We were very pleased to be awarded another contract with Bloor Homes to commence works to a new development of 250 homes. This project forms part of the complete redevelopment of the old Severalls Hospital. Our works for the first phase include a general groundworks and civil engineering package, which includes engineered foundations and porous block paving and asphalt surfacing to private drives and footways. Works to phase 3 of the project include manhole and drainage works up to 8m deep. 

Contract:- Martello Caravan Site, Walton-on-the-Naze

Client:- Motion

Date:- March 2016 - January 2017

The former caravan park is now being redeveloped.  Construction works include the infrastructure of new spine road to serve a large housing development, supermarket and nursing home.  The works are being constructed to Essex County Council specification for Highways.

Contract:-  13no. New Build Properties in Thundersley

Client:- Stonebond

Date:-  February 2016- April 2018

Our work at this development includes all aspects of: foundations, drainage, oversites, sub-structure brickwork and private external works. This development is a mixture of 4 and 5 bedroom executive houses, with double and treble garages and large, open landscaped areas. Differing ground levels across the site also had to be dealt with accordingly as part of our groundworks package. 

Contract:- Flitch Green, Felsted

Client:- Bloor Homes

Date:- January 2016 - July 2018

After successfully completing a development for Bloor Homes in Sudbury during 2015, we were pleased to be awarded the contract to start work on 98 units at Flitch Green, Felsted, at the start of 2016.  Our works, spread over various phases, include foundations, oversites, adoptable and private drainage, roads, drives and external works.  Permeable block paving has been incorporated on private roads.

Contract:- Springfield Meadows, Little Clacton, Essex

Client:- FGH Essex and Stourview Developments 

Date:- January 2016 - Ongoing

This development of 25no. houses is a joint project between FGH Essex and Stourview Developments. Starting this project as principal contractor, our works for this development include: foundations, drainage, roads and external works. All surface water on this site is to be attenuated in oversized pipes. 

Contract:- 25no. plots, Braintree Road, Felsted

Client:- Taylor Wimpey

Date:- August 2015 - March 2016

Working under strict health and safety requirements due to overhead cables, we started work on 25no. new build plots in Felsted for Taylor Wimpey in August 2015.  Works include site clearance, concrete trench fill foundations, roads and sewers, external works, and a new attenuation pond.

Contract:- 34no. houses at Sturrick Lane, Great Bentley

Client:-Mersea Homes

Date:- January 2015-  December 2016                                                     

Through building a strong working relationship with Mersea homes, we were awarded another contract which included all aspects of: foundations, drainage, roads and external works at a development in Sturrick Lane, Great Bentley. This high quality development of 34no. detached houses included a combination of permeable block paving and tarmac to driveways, as well as feature patio areas to some plots. 

Contract:- New Spa, Lavenham,  Suffolk

Client:- Hutton Construction

Date:- November 2013 - April 2015

In late 2013 we started works at the 15th Century Swan Hotel & Spa at Lavenham, Suffolk, including the construction of a basement for a new spa complex.  Working within a confined environment, further works included a piling mat, foundations, external Yorkstone slabbing, asphalt surfacing, and foul & surface water drainage including 2no. soakaways.

Contract:- New Recycling Facility, Colchester, Essex

Client:- Colchester Skip Hire

Date:– January 2013 – January 2014

As the principle contractor on site, we liaised closely with the client & architect throughout the project. Our works included the foundations and 4,200m² insitu concrete power floated floor to the 100m x 50m steel framed building.  A 2,720m² access road was constructed with 6,100m² of 205mm thick PAV2 concrete hardstandings leading from this.  Drainage works included the installation of 2 no 54,000 ltr rainwater storage tanks and Klargester sewerage treatment works.
